Spotlight on Isis Flores

This month, we highlight Isis Flores, from Oasis Insurance Agency, LLC in Rockville.

Isis is a Maryland Auto agent that serves the Maryland, Virginia and D.C. area. In 2017, she started working in the insurance industry. “That opened a door for me to this incredible industry where I found passion, satisfaction, & fulfilling challenges in my life,” she said.

She had the opportunity to become an agency manager, and after that, opened her own agency, Oasis Insurance Agency. Isis says that Maryland Auto enables her to help many drivers, especially new drivers, so that they can establish a good driving record and move on to qualify for standard coverage down the line.

“Maryland Auto provides personalized customer service to ensure that our policyholders always feel valued and important. Sometimes price is important, but the way we treat our customers is crucial.”

Isis recalls a time when she had the opportunity to help a young, hardworking driver who was new to the state of Maryland.  His driving record made it nearly impossible to find coverage that was within his means. He was depressed and anxious and needed to be able to drive in order to make a living. Maryland Auto accepted him as a customer, and he has been able to continue to pay his premium and hopes to renew it yearly. She is grateful to Maryland Auto for this success story.

“I feel the need to help and guide the youth community together with my husband who is a driving instructor. We have access to a community of young people who will ultimately be new Maryland drivers. We try to educate them on how to be good drivers with clean driving records.”
